Roboguard is a wireless, battery-powered outdoor perimeter security system designed to deliver proactive early warning of intrusions. Each unit uses two passive infrared (PIR) sensors to project overlapping infrared beams in a 110° arc over a 20 m range—covering approximately 400 m². An alarm is only triggered when both beams are broken within 0.5 seconds, significantly reducing false alarms caused by animals, foliage, or wind.
The system’s HQ base station can monitor up to eight Roboguard sensors and receive alerts from up to 400 m away (or 800 m with a repeater). It features zone-specific indicators, tamper alerts, battery monitoring, panic-button control, and full integration with external sirens or alarm panels. Each sensor is powered by eight C-cell batteries lasting 3 to 5 years. The HQ has its own rechargeable battery, offering up to 50 hours of backup.
