BeagleConnect Freedom is an open-source wireless platform designed for rapid IoT and IIoT prototyping. Built around the Texas Instruments CC1352P7 microcontroller, it supports both 2.4 GHz Bluetooth Low Energy and sub‑1 GHz long-range IEEE 802.15.4 communication standards.   Wireless & Processing Capabilities

• Powered by the TI CC1352P7 MCU: an Arm Cortex‑M4F running at 48 MHz, with 704 KB Flash, 256 KB ROM, 8 KB cache SRAM, and 144 KB low-leakage SRAM. It also supports over-the-air (OTA) updates.
• Fully open-source designs—including schematics, BOMs, and layouts—designed for long-term availability (10+ years) and robust community support.
• Leveraging the Zephyr RTOS, with full integration into Linux via kernel drivers, enabling true plug‑and‑play support for sensors, actuators, and indicators—no custom MCU coding required.
• Two mikroBUS™ sockets offer compatibility with over 1,000 Click add-on boards for diverse sensors, peripherals, and connectivity options.
• Integrated temperature, humidity, and light sensors
• USB‑C serial console and firmware programming via MSP430F5503
• 2 MB SPI flash, battery charger, buzzer, user-programmable LEDs and buttons
• JTAG connections for both main microcontroller and MSP430 for advanced debugging
• Supplied enclosure with a 2.4 GHz chip antenna and Sub-GHz U.FL connector
