Founded in October 2023 in Shenzhen, EngineAI is a next-generation robotics company dedicated to advancing humanoid robotics and embodied intelligence. With a vision of creating versatile, intelligent machines that can operate across diverse environments, EngineAI develops full-stack solutions encompassing hardware, artificial intelligence, and system software.
The company made its mark with the launch of the SA01, an open-source educational platform introduced in July 2024 to accelerate learning and research in robotics. Soon after, it released the SE01, a full-sized humanoid capable of dynamic movements, including walking at speeds of up to 2 m/s and performing complex maneuvers such as squats and jumps. By late 2024, EngineAI also unveiled the compact PM01 humanoid. In early 2025, EngineAI achieved a world-first when one of its humanoids successfully executed a front flip, showcasing its breakthroughs in agility and control.
Beyond hardware, EngineAI contributes to the robotics ecosystem through open-source tools, training workspaces, and developer documentation, fostering collaboration and innovation worldwide.
